Forms for all services are available online at: http://www.exceldecorators.com. You must return any orders to the specific company providing the services you require.

In order to obtain the products and services you require (i.e. electricity, Internet connection, booth construction) you must contact the designated service providers. Most products and service must be obtained from these exclusive conference providers and some services require advanced orders. Products and services obtained from sources other than those noted must be coordinated through Excel Decorators prior to show set-up dates.

Tom Foster at Excel can be reached at (800) 780-5476 for any questions you may have regarding show requirements, including inbound or outbound freight shipments, labor and/or use of EAC's. You may also e-mail Tom at tfoster@exceldecorators.com. If you would like an Exhibitor Kit mailed to you, contact Excel directly and they will send one to you.

Visit the website http://www.exceldecorators.com and follow the directions on the Exhibitor Ordering page. Select the FGTC show and enter the password for entry that will be sent to you by Excel Decorators. If you do not receive the password, contact Tom Foster or FGTC management.

Please review the information online carefully and fill out the necessary forms. Also note any ordering deadlines for the items you will need.

What Comes With the Booth?

Each booth includes limited standard furnishings. For each 10' x 10' booth, the following furnishings are included:
  • 8' High Back Drape
  • 3' High Matching Side Drapes
  • One 8' x 2' x 30" Skirted Table
  • Two Folding Chairs
  • One Wastebasket
  • One 7" x 44" ID Sign with Company Name and Booth Number
  • Booth Carpeting
  • Daily Pre-Show Vacuuming of Booth Carpet

Freight Policy and Site Address
Excel Decorators recommends you ship your inbound freight directly to the "Advance Warehouse Address" in order to ensure your shipments arrival. They will store your shipments and deliver it to the appropriate booth prior to your arrival for set-up.

Freight shipped directly to the Show site cannot arrive before Saturday, September 20, at 8:00 am. All freight from FGTC must be picked up on Wednesday, September 24, by 9:00 pm.

All freight or exhibits left behind without shipping instructions will be shipped to the company contact person at the discretion of Excel Decorators, Inc. The exhibitor's contact person will be billed accordingly.

Move In and Out for Civic Center Exhibit Hall

Exhibitor Move-In Monday, Sept. 22 8:30 am - 6:30 pm
Exhibitor Move-Out Wednesday, Sept. 24 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm


You must check in at Exhibitor Registration in the downstairs hallway outside of the Exhibit Hall upon arrival. Do not set-up before registering.

Exhibitors who have not paid all fees by move-in will be required to reconcile their accounts prior to receiving clearance to setup. Be certain to have payments for any unpaid portion of your fees when you arrive at the conference.

Move In
Exhibitors must contact the security guard in the back lot to unload. Thirty (30) minutes have been allotted to park, unload vehicles and have access to the back lot on setup days only. You must then find parking in the large main lot by the side of the building.

Move Out
Tear down will begin immediately after all participants have left the Exhibit Hall on the last day of the show. Exhibitors may not dismantle their booths and move out prior to this time. Inform the security guard that you are exhibitors with the conference to enter the back-lot. You have thirty (30) minutes to park and load vehicles and cannot leave cars in the back lot after loading. Please note, you may have to wait until someone leaves to enter the back-lot. You are asked to be courteous of other exhibitors, so please load and exit the back-lot in a timely manner. Exhibitors are encouraged to dismantle their booths before bringing their vehicles to the back-lot for loading. If you are shipping out through Excel Decorators please pick up the necessary outbound paperwork from Excel Decorators before the end of the show.

FGTC Exhibit Hall Show Schedule
Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008 10:15 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Exhibitors must be in their booths fifteen minutes prior to the opening of the Exhibit Hall. At the end of each day, exhibitors must remain in their booths until all participants have left the Exhibit Hall. Exhibitors in the Arena Access Hallway must man their booths beginning at 8:00 am on all show days.

Exhibit Hall Protocol
Entrance to the Exhibit Hall
During setup and tear down, exhibitors will have access to the Exhibit Hall through all outer doors adjacent to the Hall loading dock. These doors are used exclusively for setup or to tear down. Other times, all exhibitors must enter the facility through the upper level main entrance and proceed down the escalators to the Exhibit Hall level. This policy will enhance the security of your booth and will assist the air conditioning system in maintaining a comfortable temperature.

Please note: During setup and tear down, exhibitors need to pick-up name badges and/or secure a work-pass sticker from security at the loading dock. Anyone employed or contracted by your organization who is involved in setting up or maintaining any part of your booth must have a work pass, unless they are with one of the official FGTC service providers.

Security
Security is a priority for FGTC Show Management, the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center, and the Show Decorator. Show management, their officers, agents and employees are not responsible for lost or damaged property. Security guards will be on duty from setup through teardown but they cannot guarantee the safety of any item and are not responsible for any loss. We suggest that you secure your property during off-show hours. Please report any loss immediately to show management so we may alert security and contact the proper authorities.

Parking Information
Parking is very limited at the Tallahassee-Leon County Civic Center. FGTC Management is not responsible for the towing of illegally parked vehicles.

On set-up days, after unloading your vehicles, you may park anywhere, unless specifically designated otherwise, in the main side lot of the Civic Center. On days the participants are in attendance you should park away from the building, allowing participants the closest parking spaces available. Please follow the guidelines previously mentioned for loading and unloading.

Food Service
Lunch will be served and a Continental Breakfast during Show days. Food will be available on-site for exhibitors to purchase at the Civic Center from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm during Show days. Exhibitors arrange for their own meals at all other times.

Name Badges
All exhibitor badges will be distributed at Exhibitor Registration located just outside the Exhibit Hall floor of the Civic Center. Exhibitors must wear an FGTC name badge in order to remain in the Exhibit Hall. Security will ask individuals who are not wearing a name badge to exit the Exhibit Hall.

Name badges are non-transferable. We ask that all exhibitors limit the number of employees they have manning their booth at any one time to no more than 4. (You may rotate individuals in and out of your booth as needed, but all personnel must be registered onsite). Exhibitors with three or more booths may have an additional 4 employees in their booths. You may e-mail the names of your staff prior to the show to mmciver@campus.fsu.edu.

Delivery service personnel are not included in this number. Exhibitors are responsible for monitoring the number of individuals they have scheduled for the Exhibit Hall at all times, including setup and tear down.
